United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women

UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.

Delegates will address two settings in which women and girls face serious harm: armed conflict, where gender-based violence has been used deliberately against civilians, and online spaces, where organised harassment networks target women. The committee will consider prevention, accountability for perpetrators and support for survivors.
